Roan lives with Stage 5 kidney failure. His reality includes dialysis, hospital days, and mornings when simply getting up takes more strength than most people will ever know.
His illness is not his identity. It is part of his story - shared not for pity, but for awareness, dignity and hope, so that anyone facing a silent battle knows they are not alone.
